“I am Neha Khaitan, an Illustrator and a Bharatanatyam (a South Indian Classical Dance form) Dancer. I use dancing and illustrations as a tool for expression. If any tool is to be used to its best potential it needs to be honed and nurtured well. This is where I am currently, experimenting and learning. My work is a product of my ideas on what I read and general experiences that have left an impression on me. I generally like to work with Ink on Paper and Collages. The works of artists like Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Romare Bearden, Hannah Hoch, Amrita Sher-Gil and Rabindranath Tagore intrigue me and I also follow the arts created around the ‘Fauvist’ period – the overt use of colors in the paintings of that period appeals to me.
I am always on the lookout for interactions with different artists. Please feel to get drop in a line or Hello at firstname.lastname@example.org should you like to initiate a relevant conversation!”
